Reporting Fraud

NWRHA is committed to protecting the integrity of the federal programs it administers. If you have reason to believe that any fraudulent activity is taking place in connection with the Northwest Regional Housing Authority Choice Voucher Program, report the matter promptly to NWRHA.

There are four ways to report suspected fraudulent activity.
1. Mail: Northwest Regional Housing Authority
              PO Box 2568
              Harrison, AR 72602

2. Phone: 870-741-5522

3. Fax: 870-741-9234

NWRHA will follow up on all reports of program violations. Program violations may be committed by tenants or owners participating in the Housing Choice Voucher Program.

To process the suspected fraudulent activity, please provide as much information as possible regarding the person(s) you are reporting and the nature of the violation. The more information that is reported, the better chance there is of determining if fraudulent activity has taken place. Without sufficient information, we will be unable to investigate the suspected activity.

Remember, the information you provide NWRHA is strictly confidential. Due to the federal regulations, NWRHA cannot comment on actions taken after your allegation is reported. It is not possible to obtain the status of the investigation. However, we assure you that all allegations will be reviewed to determine whether or not fraud is taking place and the proper penalties will be issued if fraudulent activity is discovered. We encourage and appreciate your support in this matter.

Landlord Complaints

If you have repairs that are needed on your unit, you must contact your landlord first and give them a reasonable amount of time to complete the repairs, i.e. ordering parts may take longer.

If a reasonable amount of time has passed and the repairs are not completed, you should contact our office with the complaint. Some items must be repairs within 24 hours; these are considered emergency items, such as gas leaks, electrical shorts, no heat in winter, etc.

When filing a complaint, please explain the nature of the complaint in detail. Include all persons involved and include dates and times if applicable.

Complaints can be reported by:
